Position Overview:
The organisation is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to become an integral part of our vibrant team. The role of Capacity Building Officer is to support FMSF’s capacity building initiatives and contribute to training delivery, research, publications, and sectoral outreach. This position will be responsible for assist in designing and implementing workshops, managing knowledge content, and supporting stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and organizing capacity building interventions related to governance, financial management, and legal compliance in the development sector.
- Design training modules, resource materials and creative content for workshops and other sectoral initiatives.
- Stakeholder management and coordination to ensure smooth execution of capacity building initiatives.
- Maintain and update comprehensive databases and documentation related to all capacity building initiatives.
- Provide Input to successfully develop and manage online courses and digital learning content.
- Provide support in drafting and compiling knowledge documents on financial management, governance, and legal compliances relevant to NPOs
- Create engaging online content for social media and ensure traction on all social media platforms
- Carry out any other duties or tasks as required by FMSF

Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the development sector
- Preferably an MBA/CA/M.Com in Finance, or equivalent qualification.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in handling end to end capacity-building initiatives.
- Knowledge of governance, financial management, internal controls, and legal compliance specific to non-profit context is preferable.
- Familiarity with online learning platforms, social media handling, and digital content creation tools is a plus.
- Demonstrates efficient time management skills
- Good analytical and desktop management skills
- Proficient in IT and communication tools
- Willingness to travel within and outside the country
