FMSF is a development organization that provides a comprehensive range of services and resources to build robust systems and enhance organizational effectiveness of civil society organizations by focusing on the areas of Governance, Financial Management and Legal Compliances.
 

Position Overview

The organization is in search of a dynamic and experienced professional to join the team as a Program Coordinator for the project, “Accelerating Leadership Development for a Sustainable and Vibrant Civil Society”. This three-year project focuses on strengthening leadership capacity and promoting succession planning in civil society organizations across India. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and managing the implementation of project activities, ensuring effective coordination, monitoring progress and facilitating stakeholder collaboration to achieve project objectives. The position will be based in Noida.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive capacity-building plans while coordinating and managing project activities to achieve program objectives.
  2. Manage collection and analysis of data to support program implementation.
  3. Regular Engagement with mentors, program participants and other stakeholders.
  4. Coordinate with stakeholders and external experts to communicate module requirements, organize meetings, and ensure the creation of tailored knowledge resources aligned with program objectives.
  5. Maintain robust communication channels with the stakeholders for seamless program execution.
  6. Provide periodic  guidance, and on-site support to selected participants.
  7. Develop a structured process to collect, document and evaluate participants’ feedback to incorporate improvements into the program.
  8. Track program progress against objectives and establish a system to regularly monitor key indicators, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
  9. Prepare comprehensive periodic project reports for donor submission, ensuring accuracy and alignment with donor requirements.
  10. Undertake any other duties within the position's scope as required by FMSF.


Skills and Qualifications:

  1. 6-8 years of experience in the development sector, with an understanding of the cultural, political, and social context of civil society organizations.
  2. Preferably an M.A / MSW in Social work, Rural management, development studies  or equivalent qualification.
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for preparing reports, presenting findings, and conducting meetings.
  4. Demonstrates efficient time management skills, ensuring adherence to project timelines.
  5. Good analytical and desktop management skills.
  6. Proficient in IT and communication tools.
  7. Knowledge of leadership development methodologies and experience in training program design is preferable.
  8. Willingness to travel as necessary.
