The Central Government has specified the compounding limit for not intimating the changes in contravention of sections 11, 17, 37 and rule 17A.

As per the MHA notification dated 1st July 2022 [S.O. 3025(E)], the Central Government has specified the Offence, Penalty & Officer for compounding the offences under the FCRA, 2010. Details about one of the offence is given below:

Offence

Failure to intimate about details within the prescribed time.

Description

The person having FCRA Registration or FCRA Prior-Permission and has not reported the changes with respect to designated bank account, name, address, aims, objectives, or key members of the association through forms FC-6A, 6B, 6C, 6D and 6E within 45 days can apply for compounding of offence.

Penalty

Rupees Ten Thousand for each violation.

Officer competent for compounding

Director, or as the case may be, the Deputy Secretary in-charge of the section responsible for the administration of the Act.
