The Ministry of Home Affairs has extended the validity of FCRA registration certificates.
- The validity of FCRA registration certificates, which were extended till 31 st December 2024 as per the previous notice dated 28.09.2024, has now been further extended till 31 st March 2025 or until the renewal applications are disposed of, whichever is earlier.
- Entities whose 5-year FCRA registration validity expires between 1 st January 2025 to 31 st March 2025, and who have applied or will apply for renewal before the expiry, will also have their validity extended till 31 st March 2025 or until their renewal application is processed, whichever is earlier.
- In case of refusal of the application for renewal of FCRA registration, the validity of the FCRA certificate will expire on the date of refusal. The concerned organization will not be eligible to receive or utilize the foreign contributions from that date onwards.
