NGOs can apply for CSR Grant
As per recent amendments in Companies Rules, in order to receive CSR grants for projects approved on or after 1 st April 2021, NGOS shall register itself with the Central Government (MCA portal) by filing the form CSR-1 electronically with the Registrar, application shall accompany a copy of registrationand PAN of the entity.
The application in CSR-1 required to be filed electronically and verified digitally by practicing CA/CMA/CS. On successful submission, a unique CSR registrationnumber will be generated.
