TDS to be deposited on monthly basis
Any organisation/person responsible for deduction of tax at source (TDS) is mandatorily required to deposit TDS so deducted to the credit of Central Government on a monthly basis. The prescribed time to deposit tax has been provided as follows: For salary: by 7 thof next Month For other payments:by 7 th of next Month In both above mentioned cases, TDS deducted for the month of March is to be depositedby 30th of April.
